Goal

Combine the aluminum look and feel with lighting effects

Challenge

Make the combination look as seamless as possible. The aluminum needs to be at the center of the attention and the overall part needs to look like one single piece.

Solution

Working with Monterey’s design and engineering teams, we had to come up with the best way to combine aluminum and polycarbonate and make it so this combination would look as seamless as possible. This way, the part looks as if it were a one-piece aluminum dash panel. With the help of Monterey’s team, we were able to combine the best of both worlds: rich aluminum look and feel with a great lighting effect.
